I’m pretty pumped about the upcoming Pan Am Games and would like to share my enthusiasm with a contest. Yes….a contest where you could win $200 worth of atoma products!
atoma, is actually the Official Pharmacy to the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. In addition to the partnership, atoma will be supporting ALL the athletes taking part in the Games. Through its four banners (Guardian, I.D.A., The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy and PROXIM), the brand will provide pharmacist services, prescription medications, first aid supplies and atoma over-the-counter medications to all athletes participating in the Games.
Here’s a bit more about atoma products:
atoma offers quality products with the same active ingredients as national brands, at everyday low prices*.
atoma products can be found in two categories:
Health and Wellness (such as first aid, foot care, medical care, skin care, sun care and more)
Hygiene (such as baby accessories, soap and bath products, hair care, shaving and grooming and more)
Clearly at this time of year I seem to go through more sunscreen and more pharmaceutical products in general!! Wouldn’t you agree?
When atoma was created, their goal was to bring you high-quality products with the same active ingredients as national brands, but at lower prices. They guarantee your satisfaction or your money back.
There’s something to be said about a pharmacy that is indeed a pharmacy. For example these stores don’t sell eggs, milk or bread.
OK back to the contest:
All you have to do to win this $200 gift card is leave a comment below and answer the following question:
Which level of SPF protection do you choose, when purchasing sunscreen?
(SPF 30, SPF 60 etc)
This contest is open to all Canadians and will end on July 18th, 2015 at midnight.
My mom is so attached to her pharmacist that she was driving 20 minutes out of her way to go there even though there was a pharmacy 2 blocks from her condo. #truestory.
I usually purchase sunscreen with SPF 30.
I always buy at least 30, but prefer 60 if I can find it. My grandfather died of melanoma, so I don’t take any chances!
I buy SPF 60, mainly for my boyfriend’s sake. He burns SO easily because he is so pale!
I choose SPF 30. Works great for me!
For years I did not use anything but I have realized what a mistake that is! So now it is a SPF 60.
SPF 30
For my kids, I use SPF 30 in a spray as it’s easier to apply. For myself, I use SPF 30 made by ROCHE on my face and SPF 30 by CLARIN on my arms, neck, shoulders, etc. My husband uses SPF 10 as he likes to tan. All this to say, we have many bottles of sunscreen in our house.
I purchase SPF 60 . For years I purchased much less but with all the talk of the dangers of sun I know have upped to 60.
I use SPF 30
I use a special for faces only – on my face
I like to tan, but I am sorry that after all the years of time in the sun, sunspots come out to remind me of those unprotected delicious hours in the sun, in the earlier years.
I currently buy SPF 70 because I’m on medication that makes me very sensitive to the sun.
I have brown skin and typically use SPF30.
I always use SPF 30. I feel that works for me and my family.. For my face I use a higher SPF.
SPF 60!
SPF 30
I always wear SPF 60 or the highest I can find!
I always use SPF 30. I like to use a quick drying spray sunscreen and I always use a “for faces” one on my face but I stick with SPF 30.
SPF 30 for daily, 45 or 60 for poolside! Only mineral blocks, no chemical agents 🙂
Eek I don’t wear sunscreen – I believe we all need to get Vit D from the sun naturally and I make sure to be out early or later in the day, otherwise I will wear a long sleeve shirt.
I try to wear at least SPF 20 on my face everyday with my moisturizer and for a day out at the beach, pool or outing the highest I can find!
My dermatologist recommended an amazing powder sunscreen for my face that goes on like blush with a nice brush. It’s from Colorscience and is an SPF 50. I’m really fair and putting lotions and creams on my face just aggravates my skin. On the rest of my body, 60, or 30 minimum.
I don’t buy sunscreen anywhere but Canada. Seems Europeans and Canandians have been protecting their skin with an ingredient not yet approved by the FDA. I wear at least SPF 30 daily.
SPF 30 and only when I am literally at a beach or catching rays.
We always wear the highest possible, 50 SPF
I always get at least SPF 30
I usually use SPF 30 for my face and use SPF 50 for the rest of my body. I use a face cream that has SPF 15 so I have that on every day of the year.
I buy 60 for my boys and 30 for us.
I use min 30 SPF for everyday facial cream and overall body when at the beach. But I often use 45 SPF on my face and the delicate skin of my chest and tops of my feet when out in the sun all day.
Min 30 SPF for face and 60 for arms, neck and ears
I usually by SPF 30…and then forget to wear it!
@Tripta
OMG I mis-spelled buy. Typo, not because I can’t spell!
actually i don’t often buy sunscreen for myself. I know, my bad. but we buy spf60 for the kid.
SPF 30 – havea moisturizer that has SPF 30 so wear it almost everyday
Spf 30.
SPF 60 if I’m going to be out longer, 30 if I’m going to be driving around or shorter walks.
I usually get 30.
I am not so good with sunscreen but do always use it on my face. 30spf
spf 15, liquid spray
But I mostly do without.
I always use 50 SPF
