Fact: I am afraid of heights. I can’t even go on kiddie rides. But I still love going to The EX.

Fact: I love to try new foods.

Fact: I was at the Ex today at 10:00 a.m. so I could eat my way thru it.

Fact: I had an agenda. It went something like this: Deep Fried Coke, Deep Fried Twinkies, Deep Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly on a stick.

Fact: By noon I left. (but I’m sure I will return).

Fact: I had fun tweeting while eating! The following tweets were in reply to what I was stuffing down my face:

For example:

@thecharmfactory “the more tweets I read, the more my colon hurts 🙂

@rbuike careful you don’t turn into momwhowaddles

@Toothfairy1210 Vicky!! How aren’t you 400 pounds!! LOL Enjoy

@ChickyMara Is there anything you won’t try.

@Mkofsky Pictures or it didn’t happen

@DivaQBBQ did you pack lipitor

Fact: Here’s the photos to prove that I ate these deep fried goodies that are being served at the EX this year.

Deep Fried PB&J on a stick.

Deep Fried Coke!!

Deep Fried Twinkie

Hope you get a chance to visit the Ex this year too. (Aug 19 -Sept 5, Toronto). I promise you the Food Building has some awesome treats waiting for you.

    Great post!!

Obviously anything deep-fried is delicious, but I think I am most excited about the fried PB&J on a stick, and the deep-fried fudge at Northwest Fudge in the Food Building. We are going at least twice to the Ex so I will have plenty of time to gorge!!

coke syrup, batter -and fried. Interesting but not half as good as the PB&J on a stick.

We were there today too! We tried the deep fried cola and the donut burger. I was disappointed with the deep fried cola, it wasn’t what I expected. As for the Krispy Kreme Donut Burger…it was okay – not so bad, definitely try it out though.

The deep fried cola was more batter than cola. My fav was the PB&J on a stick.

I tried ALL DAY LONG to find the PB&J on a stick! I asked everyone where it was and they kept me going in circles :'( Where did you get it?

it took me almost an hour to find it. After numerous phone calls, and visits to information booths – I FOUND IT.
You will find the PB&J on a stick, at the MIDWAY BAR. Not the bar, infront of the Toronto Sun stage, but three steps up there is another patio. Along the wall you will find tables set up, and thats where they are selling deep fried goodness. Hope this helps.

The Deep Fried Fudge was in the back hallway (closest to the go train entrance)…. I’ve had also tried the maple….it’s like a reverse donut!!!

Oh dear! My arteries hurt from reading this. I was at Guu on the weekend and they have deep fried brie. It was way. too. much. But looks like you had fun anyways!
